Pakistani Foreign Ministry Urges Parties to De-escalate Regional Tensions

Islamabad: The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a call for all involved parties to exercise restraint and de-escalate ongoing tensions in the region. The ministry expressed its concerns over the recent developments contributing to heightened regional tensions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry released a statement on Sunday emphasizing its commitment to supporting peace and stability through dialogue and diplomacy. The ministry also reaffirmed its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all neighboring countries in the region.

The statement from the ministry further urged all parties to fulfill their obligations under existing agreements, specifically referencing the Memorandum of Understanding, and take proactive steps to reduce tensions. The ministry highlighted the importance of restraint and diplomatic engagement in achieving long-term peace and stability.
