Cairo: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called for an extraordinary session of the Arab League at the level of permanent representatives. This urgent request follows Israel’s resumption of aggressive actions, which include allegations of genocide and ethnic cleansing against Palestinians.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, more than 400 Palestinians have been killed, and hundreds have been wounded in Gaza since the early hours of the day. This surge in violence coincides with Israel’s decision to cut off electricity to the Strip and restrict the entry of humanitarian, medical, and relief aid.
The forthcoming extraordinary session of the Arab League is anticipated to focus on developing strategies for Arab and international intervention to pressure Israel into ceasing its aggressive actions against the Palestinian people.
