Baghdad: The Palestinian Embassy in Iraq expressed its gratitude to the Iraqi government for caring for Palestinian patients and the wounded.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Health stated in a press release that the Palestinian Embassy extended its thanks to Prime Minister Mohammed Shia'a al-Sudani, Minister of Health Saleh al-Hasnawi, and the Medical City Department. They were recognized for their efforts in providing treatment, medical follow-up, accommodation, food, and freedom of movement to Palestinian patients and the wounded. This support was part of the 'Relief for Gaza' campaign initiated since the first group arrived from Egypt on a military plane on the evening of May 22, 2024.
