Palestinian Foreign Ministry Condemns Calls for Increased Settler Incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque

Ramallah: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denounced the inflammatory appeals for increased settler incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque, labeling them as a direct challenge to international legitimacy resolutions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry issued a statement condemning the provocative calls from “Temple Mount” organizations and settler associations urging more participation in incursions during the Jewish holidays. The Ministry warned of the potential escalation targeting Al-Aqsa Mosque, which aims to consolidate its temporal division and deepen the annexation of al-Quds. The statement highlighted concerns over the Judaization of Christian and Islamic holy sites, altering the status quo, and isolating the mosque from its Palestinian context.

The Ministry criticized the unilateral actions by the occupation, describing them as a disregard for international legitimacy resolutions, international law, and peace principles. It also expressed concern over the international community’s silence on these violations, equating it to complicity and providing cover for the occupation’s significant breaches of signed international agreements.
