Gaza city: Palestinian media outlets announced this evening, Thursday, that Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem survived an Israeli assassination attempt. A journalist from Gaza confirmed, “Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem survived an Israeli attack.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the attack resulted in the death of his companion, Muhammad al-Fayoumi, following an Israeli airstrike that targeted the vehicle in which they were traveling in Gaza City. The Quds Network reported that Hazem Qassem was specifically targeted in a bombing of his vehicle in Gaza City.
