Beirut: Four paramedics were killed and five others were injured in recent Zionist raids targeting southern Lebanon, according to official statements released on Monday. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the raids over the past 24 hours targeted ambulance teams operating in the regions of Babiliyah, Khirbet Silm, Bir al-Salasil, Deir al-Zahrani, and Anqoun. This aggressive act led to the deaths of four paramedics and injuries to five others. The Ministry condemned the continuous targeting of medical and health personnel by the occupation forces, highlighting their disregard for international laws and humanitarian norms. Furthermore, the Ministry called on the international community and diplomatic figures visiting Lebanon to take action to halt what it described as a "horrific and long series of war crimes" perpetrated by the Zionist entity. The statement also emphasized the recent escalation in attacks by the Zionist entity, noting an unprecedented incr ease in the pace of aerial and artillery bombardments, including expansions into the Lebanese capital, Beirut. These attacks have reportedly resulted in thousands of casualties, displaced over a million people, and intensified the humanitarian crisis in the region.
