Baghdad: Before the session was adjourned, due to Al-Mashhadani’s intervention, an argument and fistfight broke out inside the parliament session. The parliament session held today, Tuesday, witnessed a heated argument and fistfight between MPs Alaa Al-Haidari and Raad Al-Dahlaki, in protest against Parliament Speaker Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani leaving the session before it was convened.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Mashhadani then returned and ended the clash by adjourning the session.
