Baghdad: Parliament Speaker Haybat al-Halbousi met on Wednesday with a delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) parliamentary bloc to discuss the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination among political blocs. “Al-Halbousi received a delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party parliamentary bloc, headed by MP Shakhwan Abdullah,” said the Speaker’s media office in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency – INA.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the meeting highlighted the need for political entities to enhance collaboration to address ongoing challenges. Both parties emphasized the significance of working together to ensure stability and progress within the legislative framework.
