Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament, Hebat al-Halbousi, met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Iraq, Alicia Rico, to discuss bilateral relations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Parliament’s presidency stated that the Spanish Ambassador congratulated the Speaker on his election to the sixth parliamentary session. The meeting also addressed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation in several areas of mutual interest.
