Baghdad: Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Hebat al-Halbousi, received an official invitation on Sunday to visit the Republic of Turkey and meet with its officials. The Speaker's media office stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Speaker of Parliament Hebat al-Halbousi received the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Anil Bora Inan."

According to Iraqi News Agency, the meeting discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation in various fields, in order to achieve the common interests of both countries. The discussion emphasized the importance of strengthening ties and fostering collaboration on issues of mutual concern.

The Speaker of Parliament received an official invitation from the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmus, to visit the Republic of Turkey and meet with its officials.
