Lisbon:A parliamentary delegation headed by the First Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Adnan Faihan al-Dulaimi, has landed in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, marking the start of an official European tour.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the delegation’s visit to Lisbon on Monday evening signifies the commencement of a broader European tour which will also include the Republic of Austria. This tour aims to enhance parliamentary diplomacy to support Iraq’s goals in expanding international partnerships.

The delegation’s efforts are focused on strengthening ties in the economic and investment sectors by attracting companies and capital. Additionally, the tour seeks to facilitate the exchange of legislative and oversight expertise, thereby fostering relations based on mutual respect and shared interests.
