Baghdad: The Heads of Parliamentary blocs and committees held a joint meeting with Parliament Speaker Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani and his deputies, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi and Shakhwan Abdullah, on Monday to clear the air after the heated controversy surrounding the decision to postpone the parliament session.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting was convened to address the tensions that arose following the postponement.
