Baghdad: Members of Parliament submitted a formal request on Sunday to the outgoing Prime Minister to take the necessary legal measures to close unofficial border crossings and ports in the Kurdistan Region, in order to protect public funds.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, last week, Parliament discussed the issue of non-oil revenues, in the presence of the heads of the border crossings, tax, and customs authorities.
