Baghdad: The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee submitted an official request to the Parliament Presidency to include the draft law of the Popular Mobilization Commission for a vote in the next session of the House of Representatives.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the committee’s initiative aims to expedite the legislative process for the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) law, facilitating its review and potential approval by parliament members. The move is seen as a step towards formalizing the legal framework governing the PMF’s operations and administration.
