Baghdad: The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee held a joint meeting this morning with a parliamentary delegation from the Iranian Shura Council. The meeting was attended by Mahmoud Nabavian, the Deputy Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee in the Iranian Shura Council, along with his accompanying delegation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Iranian delegation is scheduled to continue their diplomatic engagements with a meeting with the Foreign Relations Committee. Following this, they are set to have discussions with Parliament Speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, aiming to strengthen the ties between the two legislative bodies.
