Washington: The Pentagon has declassified a new set of documents concerning unidentified flying objects (UFOs). The US Department of Defense has made forty new files available to the public, following their declassification by former President Donald Trump. These materials can now be accessed on a dedicated website managed by the Pentagon.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the official statement on the Pentagon website announced the release as part of the PURSUE data release program. This marks the fourth batch of documents to be disclosed, with the initial release having occurred on May 8, 2026.
The newly published materials include a diverse array of content: nineteen videos, four audio files, three photographs, and fourteen documents. These were produced collaboratively by the Pentagon, the US Department of Energy, NASA, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
One notable document is a report from the US Department of Energy detailing a 2015 incident at the Pantex nuclear weapons facility, where two employees pursued an unidentified object that had breached the airspace. Additional reports involve sightings over various regions, including the Atlantic Ocean, the western Pacific Ocean, and the Middle East.
Since May 8, the US government has been fulfilling its commitment to release UFO-related files, a move initially promised by President Donald Trump. To date, the Pentagon has disclosed numerous photos, videos, and witness testimonies, with plans to continue releasing new documents every few weeks.
