Pezeshkian Sees Potential for U.S. Agreement if Bullying Stops

Tehran: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that reaching an agreement with the United States over Iran's nuclear program is possible, but only if Washington ceases its "bullying" tactics towards Tehran. Pezeshkian made this announcement during a meeting with Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi on Sunday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Pezeshkian emphasized that an agreement is attainable, provided that the United States halts its imposition of conditions and intimidation of Iran. He asserted, "We will not yield to force under any circumstances," as per a statement from the Iranian presidential press office.

The ongoing discussions between Iran and the United States have seen four rounds of indirect negotiations mediated by the Sultanate of Oman, with the latest session occurring on May 11. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi reported progress following these recent negotiations.
