Planning Minister Discusses Strengthening Joint Cooperation With Tunisian Foreign Minister


Baghdad: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, Mohammed Ali Tamim, discussed strengthening joint cooperation with Tunisian Foreign Minister, Mohamed Ali Nafti, on Thursday.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Planning stated in a statement that “Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, Mohammed Ali Tamim, met with Tunisian Foreign Minister, Mohamed Ali Nafti, and his accompanying delegation.”



The statement added that “during the meeting, aspects of joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various fields were discussed. The meeting also touched upon the expected outcomes of the Baghdad Summit, which will be held next Saturday, in achieving economic integration among Arab countries.”



For his part, Nafti praised “the level of development witnessed in Iraqi-Tunisian relations,” expressing his “happiness with the economic growth, reconstruction, and prosperity in the capital, Baghdad, and the rest of the governorates.”
