Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has reiterated the government’s commitment to completing the path of reform and continuing the rebuilding process in Iraq. Al-Sudani made these remarks during a meeting with members of the Loyalty to the Martyrs Association, representing families of Iraqi martyrs from various governorates.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sudani emphasized the foundational role of sacrifice and martyrdom in shaping the nation’s history and its ongoing confrontation with terrorism. He noted that these sacrifices have contributed to the stability, social peace, and economic development currently enjoyed by Iraq.
The Prime Minister pointed out that interactions with the families of martyrs should be guided by the values of determination and dignity rather than sympathy. He highlighted that the government’s reform and rebuilding efforts are a tribute to the martyrs’ sacrifices, aiming to secure a better future for Iraq. Al-Sudani underscored the importance of societal cohesion amidst regional developments and the government’s dedication to preserving the martyrs’ legacy while striving for an inclusive and capable Iraq.
