New York:Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi and Finnish President Alexander Stubb highlighted the importance of supporting peace initiatives and preventing the escalation of conflict during their recent meeting.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting took place in New York on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Prime Minister’s Media Office reported that discussions included enhancing bilateral relations to benefit the mutual interests of both nations. The leaders also addressed regional developments, underscoring the necessity of peace efforts to avoid potential negative impacts of war at both regional and international levels.
