Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al Sudani reaffirmed the government's commitment to addressing realistic demands that directly affect citizens' essential needs, emphasizing the importance of finding practical and sustainable solutions to various social and service-related issues. A statement from the Prime Minister's Media Office indicated that Al Sudani met with several representatives of coordination groups, demand holders, and different social segments, alongside senior officials, including the Deputy Director of the Prime Minister's Office and the Secretary of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, Al Sudani highlighted that many problems are tied to legislative, legal, and regulatory frameworks. He assured that the government is committed to providing effective solutions that address these challenges and fulfill citizens' real needs. The discussions included key issues such as the state employees' salary scale, the demands of gradua tes from medical and health colleges and institutes, the rights of contract workers under the Food Security Law, and the situation of contract employees at the Independent High Electoral Commission of Iraq. Other topics included the rights of minority employees and the allocation of residential land plots. The meeting also tackled issues related to postgraduates awaiting appointments, protesting engineers, medical examiners, the rights of families of terrorism victims, and contract employees in departments affiliated with the Baghdad Provincial Council. Furthermore, the discussions covered the circumstances of residents living on agricultural lands, implementation of Decision No. (320) regarding e-taxi services in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, the status of tuk-tuk drivers and associated fees, and matters concerning food basket distribution agents, transportation costs, and work mechanisms. The Prime Minister instructed relevant authorities to present urgent proposals to address the discussed issues, affirming that the government will implement both short- and long-term plans for sustainable solutions. He reiterated that employment and job opportunities are top priorities in the government's program, emphasizing that solutions must be legally grounded to alleviate the burden on graduates and degree holders. The attendees expressed their gratitude to Al Sudani for his attentiveness and directives aimed at solving their problems.
