Baghdad: Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani directed to form of a team headed by the Civil Aviation Authority and including the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Transport, and the Joint Operations Command, to return Iraqi citizens stranded outside the country.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the newly formed team will focus on identifying the locations of Iraqi citizens currently unable to return home and coordinating efforts to facilitate their safe return. The involvement of various governmental bodies underscores the importance placed by the Iraqi government on addressing this issue promptly.
The Civil Aviation Authority will lead this initiative, working closely with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Transport to ensure all logistical and diplomatic channels are effectively utilized.
