Baghdad -The Prime Minister, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, directed to work to combat rumors and fabricated news and respond to them through official channels and sources.
The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahia Rasool, said in a statement that the Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, chaired, this evening, Wednesday, a meeting of the Ministerial Council for National Security, in the presence of members of the Council.
He added that the meeting witnessed a discussion of the proposed structure of the Crisis and Disaster Management Center, which aims to build a national system for this purpose and unify efforts among all relevant ministries in this field to respond immediately and quickly to any emergency.
In another axis, according to the statement, the Council discussed the steps that must be taken to provide justice to the war-wounded members of the Ministry of Defense, who were injured during their military service, and the medical committees recommended that they were unfit for service.
He continued: “With the aim of giving an opportunity to experts working in the field of cybersecurity, the Council discussed holding a national competition in this regard, in order to follow up on the development taking place in this field and the need to attract technical talent by selecting the first winners in this competition to raise the level of work in the field of cybersecurity. And this matter will be coordinated with the Cyber Security Center in the Ministry of Interior.”
According to the statement, the Council also discussed a number of other topics on the agenda and took the necessary measures regarding them.
