Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani discussed with the head of the Turkish intelligence agency, Ibrahim Kalin, joint security issues and mutual information coordination between the two countries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from al-Sudani's media office detailed that the Prime Minister received, on Tuesday, the head of the Turkish Intelligence Service, Ibrahim Kalin, along with his accompanying delegation. The Turkish delegation conveyed greetings from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, emphasizing his desire to strengthen relations between Iraq and Turkey through increased cooperation and advancement in mutual interests.

The discussions during the meeting centered on joint security concerns and the coordination of information between Iraq and Turkey. The aim of these discussions was to enhance stability in the shared border areas and the broader region.
