Munich: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani has extended an invitation to Planet Company for a visit to Iraq, aiming to collaborate on climate and geographic matters and to conduct comprehensive surveys to establish an integrated database for natural resource investment.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister’s media office issued a statement indicating that Al-Sudani met with Will Marshall, the CEO of Planet Company, which specializes in maps and geology. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 61st Munich Security Conference.

The statement highlighted discussions on potential cooperation with Planet Company across various exploratory and climate fields. This aligns with the Iraqi government’s focus on developing the industrial sector by investing in the country’s natural resources, including mineral wealth reserves such as sulfur and phosphate.
