PM Launches the Executive Works for the New Balad Water Project

Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani launched the implementation of the new Balad water project, which boasts a capacity of 4000 m³/hour and comes with an expenditure of 63 billion dinars.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the project aims to address water scarcity issues and improve water supply infrastructure in the region. The initiative is expected to enhance the quality of life for residents by providing a sustainable and reliable source of water.

The government has prioritized this project as part of its broader strategy to upgrade essential services and infrastructure across the country.
