Babylon: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani launched the executive work on the plastic granules factory project with a capacity of 960 tons per day, one of the private sector projects in Babylon Governorate, and the first of its kind in Iraq.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the project marks a significant development in the industrial sector of Babylon Governorate. The factory’s establishment is expected to enhance local production capabilities, reduce dependence on imports, and generate employment opportunities within the region.
This initiative is seen as a pivotal step in advancing Iraq’s manufacturing capabilities, particularly in the domain of plastic production. The factory’s daily production capacity of 960 tons positions it as a substantial contributor to the local economy.
