Baghdad, The final signing ceremony of contracts for the fifth licensing round, related to blocks and border fields, took place, today, at the Ministry of Oil, and in the presence of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani,

Al-Sudani indicated, during a speech he delivered at the ceremony, that the implementation of the fifth licensing round was delayed for 5 years, causing great losses and unfortunate environmental damage to Iraq.

Al-Sudani stressed that the trend towards investment in associated gas and natural gas stems from a firm conviction, to achieve economic reforms, which are a main focus of the government program.
