PM Stresses Coordination Between Federal and Local Governments for Development in Anbar


Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani emphasized the critical need for enhanced integration between the federal government and local administrations to advance developmental projects and service implementation across Iraq’s provinces.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sudani’s remarks came during a meeting with the newly appointed Governor of Anbar, Omar Mishaan Dabbous, in the presence of former governor Mohammed Nouri. The meeting focused on assessing the service conditions in Anbar Province and discussing plans for public project implementation and infrastructure development. The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of aligning federal and local efforts to address citizens’ needs effectively through projects that reflect local priorities.



The Prime Minister underscored the necessity of full coordination among the local government’s components, including the governorate, executive bodies, and the provincial council. This coordination is vital to improving service delivery and establishing a robust foundation for economic growth and enhanced living standards.



Governor Omar Mishaan Dabbous expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister and the federal government for their continuous support in developing Anbar. He reiterated his commitment to advancing programs that foster investment and improve the province’s service conditions.
