Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani confirmed that the national factory will provide all sterilizers and medical supplies for the Ministry of Health.
Al-Sudani said, during the inaguration of the national health factory for the production of sterilization materials and dialysis solutions: “The opening of the national factory is a message from the government to localize the pharmaceutical industry, and it is a win for the Ministry of Health,” noting: “Medicine and health security are the most important requirements of the citizen.”
The Prime Minister stressed that: “The state must be able to secure medical supplies,” explaining: “The volume of the pharmaceutical market exceeded $3 billion, and that the national production of medicines is only 10 %, and we hope that the private sector will contribute to the national production of medicines.”
