Baghdad, Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani affirmed that Iraq will reach self-sufficiency in gas within three years.

Al-Sudani said in a speech today, Tuesday, during his sponsorship of the signing ceremony of the fifth licensing round, a final signature: “One of the main reasons for the delay in the electricity sector is the lack of gas,” adding, “We hope that the Ministry of Oil does not listen to the voices that are trying to disrupt the gas investment project.”

He continued: “We strongly support the work of the Ministry of Oil, and the time has come to invest the important gas wealth, and we want to diversify the economy during the next stage, and this matter is done through the Ministry of Oil. “

He added, “We are about to announce important projects in the areas of development, services and industry.”
