Samarra:The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), in collaboration with Iraqi security forces, have launched a significant security and reconnaissance operation covering approximately 160 square kilometers south of Samarra, reaching the outskirts of the Dujail district.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation is focused on addressing security gaps and enhancing the deployment and repositioning of military units to meet security needs in the region.

PMF units, along with Federal Police forces, are utilizing drones and advanced reconnaissance equipment. The operation also includes ongoing intelligence coordination and direct engagement with local residents and farmers to bolster security and stability in the area.
