Anbar: The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) are strengthening their deployment along the Iraqi-Syrian border, as announced by Qasim Musleh, the Commander of the Anbar operations for the PMF. He emphasized the ongoing operations to track down remnants of the terrorist organization ISIS deep in the desert.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Musleh stated that the reinforcement of PMF units is based on directives from Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani. The deployment aims to enhance security and stability along the border strip between Iraq and Syria. High-level coordination between the PMF and other security forces has been confirmed.

Musleh noted that the areas near the Iraqi-Syrian border in Anbar Governorate are experiencing significant security stability, with no recorded external security breaches. He also highlighted that security operations are ongoing in the desert to pursue ISIS remnants, ensuring the safety of pilgrims traveling to the Holy Land.
