Anbar: A member of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) was martyred following an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion in the al-Jazeera desert of Anbar province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the PMF announced the martyrdom of Jumaa Ahmed Al-Jughaifi. A statement from the PMF media office noted that Al-Jughaifi was killed while fulfilling his duties in the region.

The statement further explained that Al-Jughaifi was targeted during an operation in the al-Jazeera Desert, leading to his martyrdom. The PMF emphasized that the IED attack was directed at a PMF force in the area.
