PM’s Office Decides To Terminate The Contracts Of A Number Of Advisors And Experts As Part Of Cost-Cutting Measures

Baghdad: The office of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has taken a number of steps to consolidate and reorganize its various departments and units.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the office stated that, in accordance with the directives of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, it has taken several steps to consolidate and reorganize its departments and units in order to reduce expenses and improve performance.

The statement added: "Among these steps is the termination of contracts for a number of advisors and experts who were previously tasked with managing and monitoring several important and vital files related to the implementation of government programs, which have reached an overall completion rate of 88%. The office expressed its appreciation for their efforts and the efforts of all those working on these projects in all government institutions."

The Prime Minister's office also indicated that it has taken a number of important austerity measures to reduce expenses in most areas of the office's operational budget.

The statement explained: "The Prime Minister is emphasizing to all government institutions the need to implement all Cabinet decisions issued in this regard, in order to achieve clear cost reductions and maximize the utilization of their resources.
