Baquba: A police source revealed the casualty count from a car crash, driven by a woman, into a joint security checkpoint on the Baghdad-Kirkuk road in Al-Khalis district of Diyala Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the accident resulted in the death of a contract policeman and injuries to six others, including police personnel. Three vehicles and a motorcycle were also burned.

Earlier today, a police source reported that a speeding car crashed into a joint police and a traffic checkpoint on a vital road opposite Al-Zahraa neighborhood north of Baquba, causing several vehicles to catch fire and injuring civilians.
