Baghdad: Al-Karkh Emergency Police units successfully rescued a young man attempting to commit suicide from the top of Al-Jumhuriya Bridge in central Baghdad on Saturday evening. In a rapid response to a distress call, the police were able to prevent a potential tragedy.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Police Command stated that their patrols swiftly arrived at the scene following a report from concerned citizens.
