Ankara: Pope Leo XIV, head of the Vatican, will pay an official visit to Turkey on Thursday at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the head of the Turkish Presidency’s Communications Directorate, Burhanettin Duran, stated via the Turkish news platform “Ins Social” that the Pope will visit Turkey for four days, beginning Thursday.
Duran added that the Pope’s talks will focus on relations between Turkey and the Vatican, as well as regional and international developments, particularly the Palestinian issue.
