Nineveh plains: The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) have successfully captured a member of the ISIS terrorist group in the Nineveh Plains. This arrest is part of ongoing efforts to eliminate remnants of the group in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the PMF released a statement detailing the operation. It highlighted that the arrest was conducted by detachments from the intelligence department of the 30th Brigade, operating under the Nineveh Operations Command. The capture was made possible through precise intelligence and field surveillance at one of the entrances to the Nineveh Plains.

The PMF further stated that after the completion of necessary procedures and initial investigations, the arrested individual was handed over to the relevant authorities for further processing. This move marks a significant step in the efforts to maintain security and stability in the area.
