BAGHDAD – The Intelligence and Information Assistant in the Popular Mobilization Forces successfully apprehended a terrorist individual on Sunday in Salah al-Din Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, The Popular Mobilization Authority revealed in a statement that the General Directorate of Information, affiliated with the Intelligence and Information Assistant of the Mobilization Authority in Salah al-Din Governorate, in coordination with the Nineveh Operations Command, Division 14, Brigade 96, was able to track and arrest the accused (identified as M. T. S.) in the Shirqat District. The individual was wanted under the provisions of Article Four of the Anti-Terrorism Law. This operation is part of a broader effort to combat terrorism and maintain security in the region.
