Salah al-din: A force from the 22nd Brigade, under the North and East Tigris Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), conducted a security operation on Saturday in the Zarqa area, east of Salah al-Din Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the PMF stated in a press release that the operation included search and sweep operations within the hills and abandoned areas to enhance security and prevent their exploitation by terrorist elements as hideouts or launching points for hostile activities. The statement added that the operation is part of a series of security measures implemented by the North and East Tigris Operations Command to secure areas with complex geography, enhance stability, and pursue any suspicious movements.
