Mosul: A force from the 30th Brigade within the Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces has undertaken a security operation to secure the Iraqi border strip adjacent to Syria within the area of responsibility in Nineveh Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Popular Mobilization Commission stated in a statement: "The forces carried out a sweeping and inspection operation of the border strip of the governorate, to search for any terrorist presence and prevent any criminal infiltration that seeks to undermine the security of the borders or the region."
