Baghdad: The Popular Mobilization Forces’ service unit is mobilizing its personnel in preparation for the Arbaeen pilgrimage. The Popular Mobilization Forces’ service and engineering units have mobilized their equipment and personnel in the holy city of Karbala today, as part of ongoing preparations for the Arba’een pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the PMF indicated that “the service and engineering units have begun implementing a large-scale service campaign aimed at preparing the holy city of Karbala to receive millions of pilgrims during the Arba’een pilgrimage. The work includes campaigns to clean streets, roads, and public squares, remove waste, and prepare the areas surrounding the Husseini processions and designated service centers for pilgrims.”

The statement added that “these measures are part of providing a suitable service environment that ensures smooth traffic flow and the best possible services for pilgrims throughout the pilgrimage.”
