Popular Mobilization Forces Overthrow a Terrorist North of Baghdad

Baghdad: The Popular Mobilization Commission announced today, Saturday, the arrest of a prominent ISIS terrorist in Tarmiyah district, north of Baghdad. The Commission said in a statement that "a joint force from the Intelligence and Information Directorate and the 12th Brigade within the Baghdad Belt Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization, was able to overthrow a prominent element in the remnants of the terrorist ISIS north of Baghdad," noting that "this came during a qualitative security operation, where the force was able to arrest the terrorist called (H. A. A.) at (Dawood Al-Hassan) checkpoint in Tarmiyah district."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrested terrorist holds a prominent media position in the remnants of the terrorist ISIS and is wanted according to Article 4 of Terrorism. It was noted that the necessary legal and duly measures were taken against the detainee.
