Baghdad: A special force from the 12th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces has undertaken a crucial security mission to protect agricultural crops in the Tarmiyah district, located north of the Baghdad belt, during the harvest season.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Popular Mobilization Forces Authority announced that this initiative involves a strengthened presence in orchards and agricultural lands. This is part of a broader strategy to safeguard crops, ensuring the execution of preventive measures to avert any potential threats to the agricultural sector and preserve national wealth.

The comprehensive plan also includes providing support to farmers and growers.
