Diwaniyah: The Popular Mobilization Forces announced the seizure of caches and explosive devices near the Iraqi-Syrian border.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Popular Mobilization Forces Authority stated in a statement that a joint force from the 33rd Brigade within the Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the 74th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces found caches and explosive devices near the Iraqi-Syrian border.

The Authority explained that this came during a security operation carried out by the force, which included a wide-scale search and clearance of the island adjacent to the Iraqi-Syrian border, where a number of caches and explosive devices were found and safely disposed of.
