Kirkuk: The Popular Mobilization Authority Forces seized a truck loaded with smuggled medicines east of Kirkuk.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a force from the Special Forces Regiment of the Northern and East Tigris Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces, in coordination with security forces, managed to seize a refrigerator truck carrying large quantities of smuggled medicines in the Banja Ali area, east of Kirkuk Governorate.

The operation was executed following the monitoring and close surveillance of the suspicious truck by the regiment’s intelligence team. The truck was intercepted, and the smuggled items were confiscated. The truck and its contents were subsequently handed over to the appropriate official authorities to undertake necessary legal procedures.
