Baghdad: A Popular Mobilization Forces unit is handling improvised explosive devices in al-Baghdadi, Anbar. The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced the disposal of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in the al-Baghdadi area of Anbar province.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the PMF detailed that a force from the 57th Brigade, in collaboration with the Support Regiment and the Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Unit, conducted a joint security operation. This operation was targeted specifically in the al-Baghdadi area of Anbar province.
The operation led to the discovery of several IEDs, which were crafted in the form of plates. These devices were successfully neutralized by specialized teams adhering to standard procedures. The coordinated effort underscores the PMF’s ongoing commitment to securing the region and mitigating threats posed by such explosive devices.
