Baghdad: Iranian media reported on Tuesday that electricity was cut off on Kish Island following a US bombing.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Tasnim News Agency quoted the electricity company in the southern Iranian city of Kish as saying, "The explosion of US projectiles near the Kish power station and the US bombing may necessitate taking several production units offline."

It also noted that "the US attacks today on the port of Kish Island resulted in damage to a number of boats."
