Baghdad:President of the Republic Nizar Amedi has emphasized the crucial need for dialogue and understanding among Iraq’s political forces. He highlighted the importance of intensified consultations on national issues to bolster stability and meet the aspirations of the Iraqi people.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Amedi hosted Sheikh Jamal Al-Dhari, Secretary-General of the Iraqi National Project, at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad. The meeting focused on the country’s developments and current challenges, with President Amedi stressing the need for political forces to engage in consultations to achieve common visions. He also underlined the importance of abiding by the Constitution and its provisions, maintaining the integrity of constitutional institutions, and their role in upholding the rule of law and protecting the democratic system.

Sheikh Jamal Al-Dhari expressed his gratitude to President Amedi for the warm reception. He praised the President’s dedication to engaging with various national entities and figures, and for listening to their perspectives to serve Iraq and its citizens.
